Float on

There was plenty of activity in the city centre of Leeuwarden, possibly connected to the start of the academic year. Here are a few of scores of people navigating along the city canals, standing on little boats.

Leeuwarden lineplay

First in a series of shots I took during a day-trip to Leeuwarden last week. This one was shot inside an art piece on the side walk, aiming up (and not being able to see the picture about to be taken). I like the asymmetry in this shot.

Aperture: f/10.0
Focal length: 4.5 mm
Exposure time: 1/320
