The stars like dust
A very trippy ceiling I came across in one of the rooms of the famous Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The original is black stars on white, I inverted it in Picasa for additional effect.

Squashed bug
A funny sculpture we came across in an Amsterdam shopping corridor. A Volkswagen beetle pressed into a round shape. It is an art piece by Ichwan Noor, titled Beetle sphere.

Face off
Back to Amsterdam, where we came across this intriguing sculpture at the Rokin. It is by Mark Manders, a Dutch/Belgian sculptor and it was installed in 2017. The bird is a nice touch.

During our day trip to Amsterdam I spotted this graffiti on a wall. It reminded me of Chinese calligraphy.

Amsterdam Central Station
Interrupting the flow of images from our China trip for a moment. Last week we went for a day to Amsterdam. This shot is of the outside roof of the Central Station. I love the combination of straight lines and curves and of courses the patches of colour.
