Obstruction
A photographic souvenir from a day trip to the German city of Ahaus, just across the border. This is a detail shot of the side of the local church - a fascinating combination of an old tower and a modern church.

Bolsward in ruins
Earlier this week we went on a day trip to nearby Friesland, visiting inter alia the city of Bolsward. We've been to these church ruins before, but the beautiful weather made for better shots than in the past. I like how the shadows on the floor break the symmetry.
