Overgrown
A bit of a snapshot, but I liked how the writing on the wall was framed by the plants. This is a wall in the Geyuan Garden in Yangzhou.

Peeking through
During our short break to Nanjing and other cities, we visited Yangzhou. I've already shared a picture of the beautiful Slender West Lake garden (here); now a shot from the other garden we looked at, Geyuan Garden, famous for its man-built rock formations. Composition-wise this is an interesting example of the rare double frame-in-frame technique.

Slender West Lake
Part of our trip to Nanjing, Yangzhou and Zhenjiang: the amazing huge Slender West Lake garden in Yangzhou. The most beautiful "Chinese garden" design I've ever seen.
